The Fluffiest, Old Fashioned Pancakes
There are a ton of pancake recipes, I get it. This one is hands down the best. These pancakes are so fluffy! My family squawks if I make traditional pancakes any other way because they say these are the absolute best!
Servings: 8 pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 ¾ cup all purpose flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 ½ cups reduced fat milk
- 1 large egg
- 3 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg and melted butter. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients using a whisk to stir.
- Heat pan or griddle to medium heat and lightly spray with oil (I use avocado oil). Pour ~1/4 cup mixture for each pancake. Flip when one side has turned golden brown and cook on other side.
